California Coalition for Youth - Crisis Line Counselors

The California Coalition for Youth offers support, encouragement, and referrals to youth needing assistance in crisis situations. The Crisis Line connects an average of 12,000 calls annually. Teens and young adults are needed to train as volunteer counselors to talk with teens about all topics including suicide, depression, family problems or runaway and homelessness. Don't think you're qualified? That's OK, training is provided and no experience is necessary. Sign up now!

Preserve the Parkway - River Clean - Ups!

The Volunteer Center of Sacramento adopted a mile along the American River Parkway and mile 9 needs frequent maintenance. We are looking for individuals and/or groups to come out twice a month to pick up trash and pull weeds. Times are flexible - whatever works for you! This is a fun and easy volunteer project which helps keep the American River Parkway beautiful and a fun place to be! Sign up here!
